Ambassador
If you like to connect with people from your country of origin and would like to welcome Newcomers to the Ann Arbor area, you might want to help IN by being an Ambassador. Remember when you came to this country and how a friendly face made your transition easier.
IN Day Committee Member
The Committee is looking for new members to help them organize IN Days. The committee is responsible for coming 30 minutes early to set up and decorate the meeting room and cleaning it afterwards. They also bring snacks and beverages. All supplies are paid by IN. The committee meets once a month for planning. Help make our IN Days a success!
Newsletter Team Member
The Newsletter Team is looking for members who would like to write every month for the IN Newsletter. This group communicates mostly through email. Each month there is a theme and members write about their own experiences with or interests regarding the theme. We have an editor who will correct any grammatical mistakes, so don’t worry if English is not your first language. What is important is that each member expresses their own point of view.
Social Media Committee Member
This is a new committee which we think is very important for the future of IN. If you are interested and/or have experience in social media and would like to help IN build our profile on different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.), we would appreciate your help. Since this committee is still forming, details on meetings or how the group will work are still emerging. Help us build this committee from the ground up!
Webteam Committee Member
If you have an interest in or experience with building a website, this is the group for you! You have seen our new website, but there is still a lot more to do. Our IN Webmaster will be happy to answer any questions regarding platforms and programs being used.
Vice-President
The Vice-President position is currently vacant. We need a candidate who is a leader and a good organizer. She will work closely with Andra, our current President.
