It is with great sadness that we note the passing of our former member Kathy Guerresso this past summer.
Kathy L. Gueresso, 11/4/1958-7/22/22, age 64.
Kathy joined International Neighbors in the fall of 2002 and soon became a board member, Vice President of Publicity as well as President-Elect. She was on the Board for a year. She was active at the Board meetings as Vice President and helped to plan her responsibilities at International Days that year. I remember seeing her monthly at those meetings, helping out on various committees, as well as participating at International Days, always smiling, laughing and friendly. After she left International Neighbors, I heard she was more active with her Chiropractic practice in Ann Arbor for, 40 years. She was also a member of the local Ann Arbor Sierra Club for almost 30 years and a supporter of other nature and animal organizations whenever they needed extra help, especially in the improvement and accessibility of nature preserves and parks throughout the state of Michigan. Kathy was an engaged volunteer throughout Ann Arbor and performed community outreach to increase awareness of the importance of health and wellness. We appreciated all she contributed to International Neighbors during her time with us! She is survived by two children, two grandchildren, her parents and a sister.
