Is there anything better than emerging from a cold Michigan winter to find emerging signs of spring? We have two International Neighbors Hiking Groups open to all members. The first, led by Melissa, meets Mondays at 10:00 am. Nadeera has started leading a second group which will meet weekly on Thursdays at 10:00 am. Thanks Nadeera! Both groups will meet all summer long, exploring beautiful places around Ann Arbor including the Arboretum, Parker Mills, County Farm, and Gallup Park.
The Monday Hiking group met at the Arboretum. Signs of spring included Virginia bluebells, colorful magnolia trees, and azaleas. The Peony Garden and rhododendrons are going to be magnificent in a few weeks, and the Hiking Groups will be there. We are also planning a special walk to see the trilliums.
New members are welcome to join up on the website. Melissa and Nadeera will send out an email a few days before with the location and weather forecast. Please come and walk with our friendly groups as often as you like.
